I hope so - just not sure a RB with such a light college workload (relative to guys like Barkley, Elliott, etc.) has ever been that high a pick. Who knows though - especially with guys like Kamara and McCaffrey becoming the preferred RB style in today's game.Josh runs hard like Trent did, has vision and speed like Ingram, and the ability to catch the ball like Kenyon.....
He could well go Top 5-10 if his measurables and workouts are good
Daniel Jerimiah of the NFL Network has Josh as the #1 RB so top 5-10 is not out of the realm of possibility. I would be surprised if he gets in the 20's if he has a good workout. Doubtful play-off teams will have a shot at him.Josh runs hard like Trent did, has vision and speed like Ingram, and the ability to catch the ball like Kenyon.....

Probably not (and I'm 100% against drafting a RB early) but it seems to me that having a light workload for a RB should be more of an advantage than anything. NFL teams were so scared of Kamara because of his light workload even though literally every analysis of him raved about his actual ability. I think NFL teams would be making a mistake to do that again with Jacobs.I hope so - just not sure a RB with such a light college workload (relative to guys like Barkley, Elliott, etc.) has ever been that high a pick. Fixed it for youI would love it if Jacobs went to the Lions.
Good point. Fortunately for Jacobs, I think Kamara's success is going to have major positive impact on his draft stock - much like Russell Wilson has led to teams being more willing to use early picks on shorter QBs.Probably not (and I'm 100% against drafting a RB early) but it seems to me that having a light workload for a RB should be more of an advantage than anything. And Christian McCaffrey also. Hoping Josh lands with my Packers.Good point. Fortunately for Jacobs, I think Kamara's success is going to have major positive impact on his draft stock - much like Russell Wilson has led to teams being more willing to use early picks on shorter QBs.
Definitely have similar games, but McCaffrey was a true workhorse at Stanford. RollTide_HTTR mentioned the big hit on Kamara's draft stock had little to do with his talent, but rather his college workload. Hopefully Kamara's success will reduce the number of teams who may have previously dinged Jacobs for having a smaller college workload than most high-drafted RBs.And Christian McCaffrey also. He is. He ain’t 5-10 either. That’s what they keep saying but he’s 5’8-5’9. He’s slight too. People keep comparing him to Baker and Russell but both those guys are 200+. RW is thick. Some DL might get a flag but a few NFL hits could end his season quick. Dem dudes don’t play. Remember Anfernee snatching him down with one hand? What does JJ Watt do?I for one am curious as to what the combine reveals on KM’s true height.
Unless Tua is wearing heels, KM is 4-5 inches shorter than he is.

Big buzz on Kyler Murray cracking the top 10. For the record, teams who will be interested in quarterbacks, and where they pick in round one: Oakland (4, 24, 27), Giants (6), Jacksonville (7), Denver (10), Miami (13), Washington (15), Chargers (28), New England (31 or 32).
I'd consider finding a new team if the Redskins draft Murray.FWIW, Peter King wrote the below based on conversations with people in Mobile last weeek:
Yep I say he's 5'9" at the most. No way he's much taller than that.He is. He ain’t 5-10 either. That’s what they keep saying but he’s 5’8-5’9. He’s slight too. Sorry, he's a little fast dude with a big arm who the refs allow their WRs to push off.....he will be a huge bust in the NFLBy the time everything shakes out, I doubt he makes it past Jacksonville at 7. If not higher.
Not saying I think he will necessarily translate well to the NFL - just that teams are that desperate to find a potential franchise QB. His athleticism and accuracy will be enough to get some GM antsy enough to take the gamble on him.
My looks like he is 5' 10" comment was based on seeing him wearing cleats. So, there is that. He is definitely not a tall dude.Yep I say he's 5'9" at the most. No way he's much taller than that.
Not saying he won't. Just that based on the direction the NFL is moving, I expect an NFL team to pick him in the top 10.Sorry, he's a little fast dude with a big arm who the refs allow their WRs to push off.....he will be a huge bust in the NFL
I don't see him lasting beyond Jacksonville at #7, which I think will blow up in their face like them picking Bortles a couple of years ago.FWIW, Peter King wrote the below based on conversations with people in Mobile last weeek:
