One of our own, former Crimsonette, Stacy Scott Key was killed in a tragic car accident last night. She is survived by her husband Chad Key (former UA football player on the 92 championship team) and two daughters. Please remember her family in your prayers. We will miss her performing with the Alumni Band. Marion Powell informed me that a scholarship fund has been established in Stacy's memory. The information is listed below:

A close friend of mine here at Bama goes to church back home with Chad and his family. She is very close to them, and spoke highly of them. This is such tragic event. My prayers go out to the family.

The death of Mrs. Key struck some of the kids at my school pretty hard. I believe she taught at Englewood Elementary and from what I heard about her she was a world class woman. She's in my prayers.
