Pop up ads

I know this is not the correct forum, but why am suddenly getting pop ads and how do I block them?

If you want to either block or minimize ads I recommend installing the Brave browser for perusing TideFans. It really cuts the ads down to almost none at all.

I'm sorry, not be curt but ads are how this site remains free - it's expensive to run the servers required to handle the number of peak real-time users on this site.
