As depressing as this looks I am afraid I must concur. I think Saban has done a great job but I think we were just too little too late on these guys. I do believe we have a slim possibility of landing Maze or Corley but I am not holding my breath. I do agree like many others that 2008 will be a different story, that will be for sure in the top 10 and probably control the state. :BigA:

What is the word on Creer, the only thing I have noticed is OU and have only heard about the viles from this thread. Would we rather go hard after Creer or Devine who will likely not make the grades. McKnight (unless everyone else knows something) is likely to go to LSU. I stated earlier that if they don't make the grades, no help are they for next year.
The fact is that this could be a huge last few days:
Of the last 13 undecided recruits on rivals 100 we are in contention for 8 (i know some are very long shots but still worth mentioning)
Of the 16 undecided recruits on scouts 100 we are in contention for 7
Of these i would say we have a realistic shot at 4-5 of them:
Gibson
Bailey
Corley
Creer
Possibly Devine or McKnight but not both
These are the ones i believe we have at least a shot at, however small it may be i at least believe there is a chance.

IMO,I don't think SC is going to OK.Gibson is the only one we lead with,but I feel we will get at least 1-2 more of the rest.Not to be mean but that is really depressing, and it would make me ->:mad2:
As more and more people drop us it appears that it could be possible that no one who is on that top 100 list that has kept us on their short list for so long will commit to us. If this happens....have we filled the spots we needed to or is there anyone left that we really NEED to get?

im really liking the fact that according to rivals... in two consecutive years we have brought in the #1 OL class then the #1 DL class..
See RTO22's projection that we may only have one true DT that qualifies from this group of recruits.
well thats 1 more than we had... and its gotta be tough to find a great DT that will qualify AND wants to come to bama... i mean its not like they are neglecting the DT position.. i really feel that john brown will commit to us today .. so that will help.. maybe he'll qualify
