It was a bad spot to begin with. He never moved his foot though. Then he placed the football down. Maybe that's the way he marks his spot.

It was a reception by DeAndrew White on 3rd and 10. When he went down, his shouders were clearly past the yellow line. It's hard to tell exactly where the ball was at the time but it was certainly closer than the original spot. When the official spotted the ball he put it down about a yard short. I don't know why he was looking back but when they finally placed the ball it was correct, or, at least very close to correct.

Thanks for the pic. That's what I figured. There's no way this dude, in front of the Ole Miss bench would just pick the ball up and move it up without a reason other than to "help" Bama. Then on top of that Ole Miss not challenging it. Seeing it was done right in front of their eyes.

we had a personal foul called on our coaching staff a week ago, which was the wrong penalty and a no fumble overturned into a fumble last night, If we're being helped out i sure dont see it. tell your lsu friend not to worry about the refs, just start worrying about bama and apparently ole miss, Im sure they're better than Towson.

Unlike the refs in Baton Rouge allowing an LSU DB to push our receiver down and out of bounds in the end zone, then intercept the ball and run it out to the 50 yard line back when Spencer Pennington was QB and we were about to put the dagger into LSU...........
One of the worst "no calls" on pass interference that's probably ever been witnessed.

There were a couple of times I wondered what the refs were smoking & if a Bama fan like me thought their calls were a little shady then maybe....I remember this play too, but at the time I didn't think to much of it other than to assume they adjusted the ball too much to make up for the fact that the ball wasn't far enough originally. In other words I don't think it was a 1st down, but it wasn't placed close enough to the 1st down marker in the first place IMO. So when they said '1st down' I was slightly miffed I was wrong (I like to know I have a little bit of knowledge), but honestly to make a video of it to call out the refs goes a little to far. Bama would have won this game either way with or without this call.

Well, where was that home cooking last year when LSU came to town? The guy is a moron. I do remember that play and to me the Ref put the ball backwards from forward progress or was going to and then seemed to look at another Ref when he did the Mississippi two step. But, what I found more odd than that, a close spot, and no chains? That got me more than the spot.
