Question about Bama's DC

Who is officially the DC at Alabama? is it Kirby Smart or Kevin Steele...or does Saban call the defensive plays?

I think it's a combination of all three. Know real DC, they all have input.

It's a team effort . Saban , Steele and Smart create the plan . Steele was responsible for the fronts and Smart the coverages . Steele is in the box and Smart is on the field with Steele having seniority over Smart on the calls and Saban over both .

Kirby Smart has the title of DC. Kevin Steele has the titles of asst. Head Coach and Head Defensive Coach. Nick is the Defensive Czar.

I didn't have my binoculars, but was Kirby on the sideline (gameplan stuck in pants coaches style) acting like a wild man?

I watched his portion of the pre game press conference on this site and he said he was going to be on field. Is this the first time he's been on the sidelines calling signals this year?

That's him . Coach Smart is rather firey and energetic .
