It is Sunday, but I'll bite.

I always eagerly said the lords prayer before games, and I applied it to all players, coaches and fans on the field, not just my team or me.

Any coach that publicly states that God has anything to do with their football success is displaying simple-mindedness/arrogance.

Clearly, Ciznit believes that their football sucess over the last two years is a direct result of God's hand. This wasn't te first time.

I kinda wish somebody would put together a youtube montage of Chiznit talking about God.

I'm no religious expert, but I have read enough of the Bible to know that God has NEVER condoned cheating, cover-ups, lying, half-truths, breaking rules, deceipt of any kind, and he never allows for an attitude of "they couldn't prove it, therefore we're innocent". God deals in absolutes.

Two things the Cheeznip needs to remember if he wants to spout the "God" stuff all the time.

First, God will let you fool yourself into thinking you're right. "There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death." Proverbs 14:12

Second, he knows who's blowing smoke up his posterior and he's not happy with those who dishonestly invoke his name - "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord' shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ' Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?'And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness.'" Matt. 7-21-23

It has become abundantly clear that Cheezit is not the sharpest knife in the drawer. It makes my skin crawl when the head buffoon of an organization that condones mass cheating invokes the name of God.

True, Warrior, I don't think anybody's is going to be beating down the barn door to steal Chizik away...and not just because of that.

God is a Barn fan?

God is "ALL IN" ?

God is the Bag Man?

I gotta pull out my bible & read this cause this story must have been missed!

I'm a religious person, too, but I can't help but believe that God has a lot more things to take care of in this world than a football game. Yes, I know he's GOD and is all-knowing but I really don't think he cares who wins a football game - especially those who cheat!

honestly...who have they beat? who? a overhyped MSU team that would have a hard time being a middle of the pack Conf. USA team? a Florida team that is on life support right now? i mean sheesh, Florida ahsn't been the same since we beat them in the SEC Championship game. who have they beat that is of any import? South Carolina maybe? have you watched them play? to be honest, LSU and Bama have a strangle hold on the SEC right now and the other teams seem to have given up already.....

I don't know. I am a christian and there are days I wished I gave God the honor for everything more than I do. I mean it's auburn...and they make me sick. But I don't really have a problem with the God references.

to be thankful to God for your talent and ability to play good football - absolutely okay

To say that God is making you win ballgames - not so much
