Oh wait a minute. I made a mistake, that's the directions to Knoxville....Dont think I know the way to the Swamp........:rolleye2:Rob a bank. Or shoot someone....That will get ya there quick........
This is ABSOLUTELY the FASTEST way to go, I have been through B'ham (someone else's idea, we came back through Dothan)82 E to Montgomery
231 S through Dothan to I-10
I-10 E to I-75
I-75 S to Gainesville
Or you could go through Birmingham like Google Maps suggests, but why?
Slow poke! After last year's Florida game I made it from Woodland Forrest (off Skyland) to north Melbourne (much further southeast than Gainesville) in 9 hours 41 minutes drive time (not counting bio breaks, etc.). Admittedly, that time took a lead foot, but 11 hours to Gainesville seems a little long even at a more reasonable speed.Your lookin at about 11 hours depending on your speed.
The same kind of place as the famous Boobie Bungalow just north of Huntsville near Pulaski, TN.:blush:What is Cafe Risque? Now this wouldnt be the place Im thinking
about is it?
Sounds about right if you don't speed. Although I'm not sure you really want to go through Atlanta like Mapquest has you do. I sometimes go through Atlanta if I want to stop and see friends or if I want to be sure I'm never too far from a hotel in case I get tired (Palm Bay is farther than Gainesville), but otherwise why bother with the traffic and the extra distance?Mapquest says 8 hrs, that about right?
Ayup. On your way out of D-Town *snicker* check out Dobbs' BBQ. It's sum good. :biggrin:From Montgomery we go south through Dothan all the way to I-10, can't remember the road number (231 maybe).
