Rammer Jammer: LSU

The sad thing is that it probley wont happen

A kid in my music class who is in the band said this morning that they most likely wont play rammer jammer due to hurricane katrina. This ****ed me off, because football and the hurricane are two different things. he said that it is also the reason they didnt play it at ole miss.
 
That's crap. Southern Miss I fully understand, that was a good move on our part. But this? Heck no. If LSU loses, don't think for a minute they'll blame it on hurricanes. If we were playing Tulane, I'd understand. But Katrina didn't seem to stop LSU students/fans from ripping the UT bus apart. Even we don't touch UT buses. (Mainly because they're short...)

Yeah, we should spare the feelings of compassionate souls who post things like this:

???? It was played at State and Starkpatch was in Mississippi the last time I checked. Probably suffered more than Oxhole did. If we beat LSU, I'll bet somebody starts it.
 
I'm in the band, and Dr. O hasn't said anything, to my knowledge, about us not playing it. Maybe the person in your music class has heard something from him, but I wouldn't be too worried. I'll let you guys know if he says anything about it at practice.

I went to their site to read it, but it wasn't there. By the tones of other posts, this guy was probably given some "time out". And no wonder. I don't care who an injured player is or what team he plays on. No one should ever make hate-filled statements like that against anyone. I know everyone here hopes that not only TP and JBC recover fully, but so do every other injured player from every other team in the nation.
