RB Demetrius Hart Updates: Hart is the leading scorer is Florida HS history

Mike Ferrell seems to think that Bama is recruiting Dee Hart as a slot reciever. Anybody agree with that sentiment?
A few things....
-Hart is having an unbelievably good senior HS season this year.
-Dix wants Dee, Saban doesn't need another Kenaan Allen episode (by the way, K Allen should have went to Bama, he could be on National TV opposite Julio....instead, he never gets thrown to on a lousy Cal team...Ha HA! He probably would be third string receiver at Bama from the Cal games I saw this year, except against smalll school UC Davis)
-Dee would go crazy in the the Wild Cat.....have you seen his HS games. That freshman back playing at U of of South Carolina looks small out there, and he's getting some great results.
DARN!!! I bet Bama is going to run out of recruiting slots this year!.......when you beat Florda by 25 points ever kid wants a piece of Saban and the Prime-Time sucesses.

Not to be a thread changer but I thought KA was going to play safety at Bama. I know he gave the staff the ability to be either WR or S.
Back on subject, if Hart commits I think that shows Crowell is probably going elsewhere. Unless, CNS wants Crowell and Hart instead of someone else.

I think Hart is not going to UA. I actually would like to have him and I think he is ours if we want him. It looks like he came to the game for one last visit to see where he stood with us, but I am starting to think now with the few spots left and the potential of some guys we could land we might only take 1 RB in this class and with the way UGA is performing I would not be surprised to see Crowell that back.
I also would like to see what IC says after his visit, not to mention on alot of UGA boards the fans are already listing their choices for a new HC and K Smart keeps going to the top of that list.

I found this very interesting and about UA wanting Hart for defense. Looking at this article I do not see him coming to UA and Arky might be more of an option then some think. Still it does seem we are after him.
As for Alabama, its been reported that the Tide will ask Hart to play defense, something he's not all that excited about. He told the Sentinel on Sunday night, however, that 'Bama officials have said he "would play whatever I wanted."
His stats for the season look pretty good to.
The running back has 70 carries for 569 yards and 12 TDs, an average of 142 yards per game and 8.3 yards per carry. He also has 10 catches for 130 yards and 1 TD, and added with his return yards, he has 813 all-purpose yards, about 203 yards per game.

At least we do have the advantage of having last visit. Sounds like he would have a tough time breaking in the Michigan depth chart. I like our chances. We want 2 RB's. I see Crowell going to UGA unless Richt gets fired by NSD. So Buck Allen and Dee Hart are 2 good backs.
I think with Michigan it would be a case of the QB playing QB and RB at the same time so there would be limited carries.
At the risk of sounding ungrateful, do we really want this guy? I know he's a good player but numbers are very very tight. With our success this year, I'm hoping we can steal a couple of big time guys who are leaning elsewhere.
If major changes are made to the coaching staff at Georgia, it could sway him to Alabama, but a bad season isn't going to affect a lifelong 'Dawg fan's decision an awful lot. It's going to be a long battle to land Crowell.
Sorry on my mobile.. so I canht give you guys a link but the Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Dee's eliminated Auburn and Arkansas and it's down to Bama and UM... hmm

Sorry but What is your idea of a "big time guy" stars don't mean much in the end. Dee has a pretty impressive offer list and is having a strong season against Fla talent. I'd say thats pretty big time. Remember how "big time" Mark Ingram was out of high school?
I'd say if Saban wants a guy enough to offer and accept a commit, should he choose Bama, then yes obviously "we" do want this guy.
