I keep hearing comparisons. To me he looks a lot like Robert Smith running the ball.
The boogs don't know whether they're washing or hanging out......their very next post is likely to be "hope TJ enjoys riding the bench". There is a lot of that sentiment on their boards. What's really funny about the whole Auburn thing is that it's pretty obvious that this one hurt them DEEPLY, yet they keep trying to justify it as if he was afraid of the depth over there. They are trying to have it both ways. They want the guy badly, then try to make it seem like he's scared of competition. Some of those guys are talking up their DC like Yeldon have to compete with a bunch of proven world beaters there, but act like Lacy is all we have.
If he's afraid of competition, why would you want him anyway, and if you don't want him, why do you keep complaining about him not wanting to be there?
Edit: Sorry sanjosecrimson, didn't see your post. But yeah, the posts I saw they didn't even mention Hart and Fowler. It was basically "all Bama has is Lacy so TJY automatically steps into the #2 spot there" kind of stuff. Hilarious.
Oh that quote makes it all right there. :biggrin:he's not Auburn material."
Has anyone who's seen Yeldon have a good feel for him as far as his ability to break tackles and get tough yards up the middle?Bone posted for free his senior highlights not sure if are already on here.

With our OL, there will be plenty of those opportunities........Has anyone who's seen Yeldon have a good feel for him as far as his ability to break tackles and get tough yards up the middle?
Clearly from his highlights, he's great once he gets past the line of scrimmage and into the open field, but those kinds of runs are pretty much the only ones shown.
I have not seen anymore than his highlight videos than what is posted here but I think this will not be an issue once Coach Burns and Coach Cochran spend a little time with him.Has anyone who's seen Yeldon have a good feel for him as far as his ability to break tackles and get tough yards up the middle?

He's tearing up practice at the All-Star games. Spring classes start a week from tomorrow. Is TJ on campus yet? When does spring semester start?
