Reality Check: Your pre-season predictions??

I said 8-4 all along, but didn't predict which ones we'd win or lose. Definitely didn't think we'd lose to MSU.

I predicted 7-5 and like Jess has said I predicted we would win one game we did not count on winning and losing one game we should win. My upset was either UT or AU but I figured our unexpected loss would be to Ole Miss. I still think we finish 7-5 but win in a somewhat minor bowl game.

I predicted 7wins at the worst,8 most likely,and 9 at the best. If we had beaten M St I believe we would have done what i thought was the best. I hate to say it, but I thought preseason we would not beat the barn down on the farm.However,I feel somewhat better about our chances at this time so maybe we can get 8.

I predicted 7-5, but thought 9-3 was very possible. Looking at the schedule, UGa, FSU, UT, LSU and AU have had "better" recent recruiting classes than UA. Thought to get 8, we'd need to win all the "supposed to wins", and snag one from the 5 I mentioned. Well, we whipped UT, but didn't take care of business vs MSU. That one hurt.

What really hurts is the truth. Truth is, we could have beaten each team on the schedule when we played.

honestly, besides the state game its gone pretty much exactly as i expected before the season. thought we'd go 8-4. to do that now we'd have to beat auburn. now for my poll question: how many of you trade a loss to msu for a win over auburn to get to 8-4??? :biggrin2:

I said 9 with the favorable schedule and anything less would be a disappointment....yea I'm disappointed

I predicted a final record of 8-5 (after a bowl win). Of course, I didn't expect us to lose to ULM, so even if the final numbers work out right, I was dreadfully wrong about how this season would play out.

I expected to see improvement from week to week. I am not even sure what to call what I have seen unfold since the collapse in the 4th qtr against LSU, but it doesn't qualify as improvement...
