One more comment on scientific journals. If you read the the ClimateGate emails it is very clear that "Climate Science" community is a very closed culture that actively works to keep contrary points of view of the these journals. I don't have the time to track down the damning quotes, but you can google it.

Those emails also show how these scientists used mafia tactics against one particular journal that published a skeptical article. Basically they threatened to boycott the journal and no longer publish to it. This journal caved.

Also, in one very important article that "proved" the hockey stick was accurate, the authors refused to publish the raw data for months (years maybe) until the IPCC panel was completed. This article was the lynch pin for the IPCC's recommendations for economically devastating carbon reduction.

I apologize again for not have the details at hand, but I'm in a rush.

To me the bolded quote above is the big takeaway. The climate is an incredibly complex system that we don't fully understand. I have no problem with people raising concerns, but claiming the "science is settled" and calling people with legitimate questions "deniers" is just an effort to shut down the debate and shows they have more interest in their own agenda than the truth.
Of course I agree. I just took offense to those saying that any short-term variation undoubtedly proves science one way or another. For example, many will take your two articles and say: "Climate Change isn't happening! Silly Scientists." In fact, other snippets of those same articles suggests otherwise like your final point.

You also have to realize that from a published article in a scientific journal, media outlets from all over the world skew the data to fit their political agenda. I see internet sources on both sides that cite the same article claiming either climate change is happening or it isnt.

Is that sorta like making it all up which is exactly what this whole concept was originally based on?

You really think that thousands of people have gotten together and conspired to make up an idea? Do you have any idea how difficult that would be? A conspiracy between an entire discipline would be absolutely impossible. Take your tin foil hat off.

Like duping a whole nation to exterminate a race of people? Using government's "goodwill" to keep a race of people dependent on them? "4 legs good; 2 legs ba-a-a-ad."
