Beat Auburn and make it two out of three!

Also, one of the talking heads said if Auburn loses to KY (as the they did today) and then us and then to the Vols they risk missing the dance. I think they only have 1 or 2 quad one wins at the moment. So there's even more motivation to finish strong. Beat the barn. Hurt their program.

And then beat A$M and hold the title outright!

I think under the circumstances he’s done pretty well. I feel sorry for Nate.

Didn’t some journalist say Alabama was a basketball state? Doesn’t look that way after today.

If Alabama beats AU, they win the SEC title outright regardless of the A&M game.

But a win vs A&M would help with maintaining the overall #1 NCAA seed, and it would just be sweet and appropriate and improve Bama’s recent record vs A&M.

I think we are almost at a spot where we are a lock for a #1. Maybe it’s Auburn. But I think one more win and it’s a lock.

Proud of this team and the guts/mental fortitude they've shown. No matter what happens from here, the season was a huge success for our program. Post season is a weird thing in CBB though. I see a possible scenario where we hit an unexpected buzzsaw early. It will be interesting to see if we can, as Saban says, sustain our performance.

this is why I say this. If you change Alabamas last two games to losses it still has us as the #2 overall seed.

I just tried a bunch of sims based around splitting the last 2 vs AU and A&M

If we did that we would have to win the SECT to remain the #1 Overall seed.

Anything else and we drop to #2 Overall

Houston is projected to take over if we falter but Kansas is seriously knocking on the door too.

I feel like we can only afford 1 more loss of any kind to feel good about being a Top 2 seed without counting on Houston or Kansas slipping too.

Don’t say that! We always seem to hit the “buzzsaw.” Providence. UCLA. Heck even in the Elite 8 run, we lost to the eventual champion. It’s time we are the buzzsaw.

I'm excited to see how this team responds to tournament time. Are they gamers? Will they step up and elevate their game? I sure hope. I'm here for it!

We haver a few guys who have been in a bit of a funk lately. I'm hoping that everyone is about to get refocused and we are going to plow through both tournaments.

I think it would be hard pressed to find anyone here that would actually think we could see a basketball National Championship in our lifetime. RTR folks. We’re living in great times.
