Former Michigan State and Baltimore Colts great Bubba Smith has passed away:

Those who don't remember his football days will most likely remember his role in the Police Academy movies. Personally, I always loved his guest spots on Married... with Children:

I loved Bubba Smith on Married with children. Spare tire Dixon if I recall correctly. They called him "Spare Tire" not because he was fat, but because he wore one around his neck when he played football.

He was on another episode of Married with Children with him playing on the Pink Ladies or something like that with Lawrence Taylor, Hawksaw Reynolds and Kenny Stabler.
