Foster is going to announce on TV the Monday before NSD. Here is his UGA visit update, nothing big other than when he is going to announce.
After numerous trips to UGA, Reuben Foster made his way back to Athens this weekend for what was likely the last time before he makes a final decision on his college choice.
The five-star linebacker gave the visit positive reviews, as did a family member.
“It was good, good trip for me,” Foster said, "just seeing everybody again up at Georgia. My mom liked it up there too.”
After being recruited by the Bulldogs for basically four years, Foster says he knows what Georgia has to offer.
“It was the same stuff," Foster said. "They can’t really tell me too much more that I have not heard about Georgia. All it is now is a choice I have to make in the end.”
The standout part of the weekend, Foster said, was being around close friend and early enrolling UGA player Tray Matthews.
“I mean, he wants me to play with him, but he also wants me to do what is best for me in the end," Foster said of Matthews. "He just told me he does not want to be another person stressing me out.”
Foster was able to spend time with head coach Mark Richt before he left Athens.
“Coach Richt wants to be my mentor," Foster said. "He wants to be a big part of my future."
When asked how he would rate this trip on scale of 1-to-10, Foster replied that it was, “an eight.”
With one more official visit remaining (to Auburn next weekend), Foster says the process is getting intense for him.
“This thing has gotten crazy, man," he said. "It has gotten too crazy."
Foster says after his visit next weekend he will sit down with his mom and try to make the final decision.
There is also now a change of plans on when Foster will publicly announce his commitment. He is now saying he will commit on television the Monday night before National Signing Day.

So, what I get from that interview is he is not going to UGA. An "8" means there is another school that is higher.

How are we feeling about Reuben? My thought is the fact that he is NOT waiting till NSD bodes well for us. I believe coach Saban, given his way, would prefer to have his players committed before NSD, And with limited spots, maybe Mr.Foster is saving his spot on the magic carpet ride by announcing earlier than what many believed would be an after NSD signee? The interview gives a good vibe for us Bama fans.
Although, last time I had a good feeling about a recruit named Reuban, he ended up at LSU so what do I know?

I'm surprised anyone knew what it meant. I skied Grand Targhee once and found out how heavily Mormon Idaho is. Near the end of our trip, we decided to take Sunday AM off and only ski the afternoon. Our condo had a great view of - the parking lot, not the mountain. I looked out around 10:30 and counted a handful of cars. I looked out again around 1:00 and the lot was packed with cars, trucks and RVs in a massive tailgate with grills and smoke rising from all over. I confirmed with the bartender in the one little bar allowed in the base area (their liquor laws are bizarre) that they were all Mormons who'd gone to church first...

He gives Georgia an 8 and he has to say his friend didnt want to stress him out ( if he was UGA bound the friend would know ) so that leaves it between Auburn and Bama ,he already has a date set ,next Monday so if it was really an Alabama & Auburn 50/50 decision how would he know that by Monday his 50/50 decision will be clearer ?

Apparently legit, though, on the visit. A lot of people are saying he has a friend considering SDSU and is just kind of tagging along to help him get noticed, but I don't know if that's true or not. Might be just going to get away and clear his mind for a couple of days. Maybe he's trying to create a package deal to AU or UGA? Again, you can never separate truth from fiction with this kid.

This guy's first college tackle better cause the ballcarrier to spontaneously combust otherwise he will be a letdown. What a freak show. I guess the break point will be how he responds when he is just another frosh with a shiny new helmet....

he played at troup with wr christian cumberland and they are going out together to visit sdsu for 2 days and then i believe are visiting auburn together this weekend. i have lost track of how many times i heard foster being part of a package deal.. it was with tray mathrews, then it was with a dlinemen a few weeks ago, and now the rumor of him wanting to play with cumberland now. i like cumberland actually. i have seen him play he has good size and was productive the time i saw him play, but no foster goes to uga it will be by himself with tray who is already on campus. however i don't see that happening.. i see foster ending up where most including i expect auburn.. he is "all in".

I have said this before...bridge was burned and should have never been rebuilt. Would be nice if he goes to the Aztecs, but not happening.
