COACHSPEAK: "He understands the value of his teammates. You look throughout history of all the greatest players in all sports and all levels, and you realize the greatest players are those who have been able to incorporate someone around him and understands he's a small part of the team like everyone else is. Robert has a unique charisma that brings everybody in, and he has a leadership that can step up when necessary and a leadership that leads by example. He's a special kid and a special player. He's one of those kids you say in your career of coaching you will have once in your lifetime, and he's a once in a lifetime type kid." - Plant coach Robert Weiner

Re: Marve Vs. Garcia

I'm excited about Marve coming to UA. Heard he's been bumped to a 4* and may go to a 5. I think he will only make the QB situation more competitive in the future.

Rivals still has him as a 3* with a Rivals Ranking of 5.7.

The guy looks amazing, and his attitude seems even better. He looked good on rollout passes as well. Looked a little like Troy Smith has this year...hope he turns out to be that good.
You nailed it, fb. Living here in Tampa again has given me the opportunity to see some amazing high school football. We went to the game and it was as advertised....a real "barn burner." Garcia looked good, but Marve was flawless. His ability to get the ball to the receiver reminds me of Brodie, but he is much more acurate and mobile than Croyle. Don't get me wrong, you will not see RM throw a 65 yd rope like BC, but he has a knack of finding a way to get it there. I am told his class work is in excellant shape and is a born leader (on and off of the field). Robert is going to make his mark at the Capstone and the SEC.:BigA:
