re: Ro - Update? (Merged - no more new "Ro" threads) - Ro participates in warmups

I guess I'm misunderstanding the situation. Yes, the illness lasts for 12 or 24 hours, but isn't it the dehydration and other after effects that they are keeping an eye on now?
They're not having any after effects...

I'm sure you are right, and I'm not trying to be argumentative. I'm just going by this story posted today on tidesports.com:

“We’re not going to let him play unless the doctors say he can play,” Saban said.

“If he’s sick, dehydrated, he’s not going to play in the game. We’re not going to put a player at risk regardless of what the circumstance relative to the game is. He’s better today (but) he did not do much in practice (Tuesday).”

McClain, others participate in warmups | TideSports.com | The Tuscaloosa News | Tuscaloosa, AL
PASADENA, Calif. | University of Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain took the field for warm-ups and appeared to go through his paces without trouble prior to the BCS national title game. McClain had a stomach flu earlier in the week and missed the BCS Media Day, and Nick Saban said Wednesday that the standout junior had not - at that time - been cleared medically by team doctors.
