Go to http://www.choicehotels.com. Just a few days ago I reserved a room for 3 in Bessemer for the 1st and 3rd games. They may have some rooms left. Also, if you sign up for their rewards program, you will get a free night after only 1 2-night stay or 2 1-night stays.

You won't find anything closer than Bessemer. Good luck.

I found a room at the Micrtel in Cottondale this past Saturday. They said they had a few rooms left!
