I'm assuming this mock draft is based off the makers speculation.. Or are they based on actual news surrounding the pick? I haven't seen anything about the Bucks even being remotely interested in Sears.
mock drafts are dumb, these "experts make a dozen different ones and when one is kind of close, they can say see I told you so.

This is the same one that's always had him at 33. I haven't seen many with him even being taken at all, but this was one of them, even before the combine. If his stock did anything, it probably dropped with the injury

It only takes 1 team to like him for him to be drafted late 1st or early 2nd. I hope for our sake it is not until the 2025 NBA draft.
That's true, but since he has to decide before the draft, it won't really matter unless a team gives him a guarantee, and I'm not sure how likely that is.

Ehhh ... if it's a groin injury it shouldn't hurt his stock honestly. Would more if it was something like a significant knee injury. Again, we should know something soon. Surprised that we haven't heard from Jarin yet though.

I just meant it would hurt his stock because others have had a chance to improve upon theirs, and he hasn't, not necessarily because of the injury. I just think it would be difficult for him to improve his stock when he didn't get to participate.

Crosses fingers/knocks on wood/throwing salt over my shoulder...I think we get both of them back.

This is simply based on the lack of news about their combine impressions. If forced to pick, I think JS is less likely to return than Sears simply based on his measurables and incredible upside for the future.

Hoping for both to come back and hoping UA is putting together attractive NIL's for both to feel good about!

He visits Milwaukee on the 29th, so we won't be hearing anything until that day.

Haven't seen any indication that he's got a guaranteed spot anywhere. Maybe this is the writing on the wall for his return. I sure hope so. Kinda just assume it has to be the same with JS.

The anticipation for next season is gonna be killer.

Just read online that Sears is coming back! Pray that it is true!
Not yet unfortunately. Coach Oats said he will not make a decision until the 29th, as he has 2 more workouts, all the way up until the 29rh. I think I know what you may have read. I've seen a few Facebook posts saying coach said he was coming back, but the ones I saw just took his comments out of context. No worries though. I'd put money on him returning at this point. We only have to wait a tad longer.

I don't blame Sears for checking out all of his options before making his official announcement. This decision might determine the future of the NBA for him.

About the most credible source I've found so far is Mark Sear's mother on FB and she says herself that the decision won't be made until May 29th. I believe I'll trust momma on this... lol

I saw a FB post a couple days ago saying he was returning. It had a nice picture that looked professional. I just don't know why people do stuff like that.

Is getting a click when something isn't real that exhilarating???
