I think on opening day I would have a list of the teams that made a push to outlaw this short yardage play, and each opening drive the Eagles have against said teams throughout the season, Hurts' should call the Tush Push in the huddle every down until either they stopped him or there's points on the board. It would be glorious to watch such a deliberate MURDER BALL move on the grid iron.

Of course that might be all dependent on what the offensive line looks like this next go around.......LOL

As an Eagles fan, I'm all for it. Roger Goodell doesn't like the look of the paly and wants to ban it. Other teams are just cry babies. Why should the Eagles be punished just because other teams are not good at running that play? Tell the rest of the league to figure out how to stop the play. If one team has a superior duel threat QB, should a rule be passed stating once the QB takes the snap more than three yards behind the line of scrimmage he must hand off or pass the ball?

Here is a novel idea. Instead of banning the play how about other NFL teams get them a big player that can run it too? Doesn't even need to be a QB. I guess that is just crazy talk.

The only problem I have with it is that they can get behind the QB and push him. But then the defense is not allowed to push their players from behind? Seems like it should be either both allowed or both not allowed.
