Absolutely! They seem to be "re-committing" themselves to defense and DeMeco should really be good in that system!

I've heard the Texans made a huge mistake by not taking Bush, but it looks like they are serious about building a defense after taking Mario Williams and Demeco. They could not have picked a better human being much less a talented football player. I predict he will be a leader on that D in years to come. Good luck Demeco, good choice Texans!

I'm sure some out here are concerned we didn't take a Tackle and I too if I were not a Bama fan and knew Demeco's abilities, but I think there is still alot of great linemen slipping and we have back to back picks in round 3. Roll Tide and Go Texans!!!!!!

Texans take Ryans in second round of NFL Draft

Former University of Alabama linebacker Demeco Ryans became the first
Crimson Tide player chosen in this year's NFL Draft when he was selected by
the Houston Texans as the first pick of the second round Saturday.

Ryans, 6-foot-1, 235 pounds, was the 33rd pick overall.
