True, but anything can be used to find an edge in preparation.
Yes. We’ve nearly perfected the art of it.

It will be used. Whether it makes an impact is yet to be determined. The positive thing is that she is not affiliated with the team. The team; coaches and players; will be prepared and will not have been flapping their gums ala Dabo.

Ohio State fans hoping for a similar emotional bounce to what they saw vs Clemson might do well to pump the brakes a bit.

When it comes down to it she's just a fan. She may be Saban's daughter, but she has nothing to do with the team. Coach probably would prefer she be quiet, but I don't care if she says what she wants to say.
Have you watched "The Last Dance"? Some players use anything - even literally manufactured outrage - to push themselves.

Acting like this can have no influence is ignoring reality. It was stupid.

Didn't say it was smart. They WILL find something and keeping it inside was the wiser move. That said, I'm not going to be bothered by someone not associated with the team "mouthing off" on twitter.

I believe Coach Saban's daughter was adopted by Coach and Mrs. Terry.
Wish you wouldn’t have brought that up re adoption. Has nothing to do with why she made an idiot of herself on Twitter. The one time I met coach the conversation was adoption and faith. Two very important parts of his life. I can say it’s the one area where I follow in his footsteps!

As an adoptive parent, I agree. In my view, nurture trumps nature.

It's news when a coach or his family gives another team Bulletin Board Material. TOSU will use it for any extra motivation they can get out of it.
I'm disappointed she let her mouth run loose, but as Coach would say...
'IT IS WHAT IT IS'. It's something we will have to play a little bit harder to overcome.
Under these circumstances, You can bet Mrs.Terry gave the appropriate ALPHA CHARLIE to you know who.

I think he was responding to the comment that the level headedness skipped a generation, or something to that effect, but since she’s adopted it has nothing to do with genetics. I don’t think he was saying it in any disparaging way.

I agree with your analysis but don’t see the need to highlight. I don’t introduce my son as my adopted son but as my son!

My family chose to be foster parents and Charles was my brother. It gave me the chance to have a brother that otherwise I would not have had. I admire the Sabans. They never shied away from talking about adoption and that to me shows their passion for the process. Just a way to use their platform in a really cool way.

This is very bad. Ohio State had already been using Saban voting them #5 as motivation but this makes things much worse. Hopefully our guys will be just as motivated because of the rather embarrassing loss in our last NCG appearance.
I get using the #11 ranking as motivation, but #5? Considering they landed at #3, that seems pretty reasonable. And if comments from a coach’s daughter are bulletin board material, then they are really grasping for straws for motivation.

Maybe the idea of winning a national title if you win next Monday could be motivation, just a thought. At least, that’s what I hope our guys are using.
