Scrimmage Today!

Another site reporting the offense has come to play today. Connected person says, "The Script has flipped," signifying the offense is having a good day.

Sounds like Keelon is making his move.

Read that KR has been with the 1’s and they scored 3 straight TDs

1st Drive was primarily rushing and that Trae'shawn Brown at RB looks fantastic.

Defense has fought back and starting holding them to FGs and KR got greedy and threw a Pick 6 to Kirkpatrick Jr

Kirkpatrick has the genes. He's always around the ball like his papa.

I think most signs now point to KR being named the starter.

Just going by what people are saying from the scrimmages and if that’s accurate plus a few guys publicly predicting it now.

IF that’s the case I would rather CKD announce it sooner than later.

Watching the presser now.

Crowell and Brooks didn’t scrimmage but they hope both can participate next week.

Spoke well of Brown at RB and that he’s doing well not just with the ball but also with pass protection.

Still being Cagey about the QB situation and that he feels comfortable with both guys and he knows they’ve got to pick one and will sometime soon.

Scott and Meadows are both taking advantage of more opportunities at WR

Honestly, unless Mack clearly separates... I'd say start Keelon and let him play. Sure, maybe a few more mistakes, but the ceiling so high and he just needs experience. Mack has to be close to his ceiling at this point on the flip side of that.

Good news on the running game. I felt that Hill could potentially take a step and Brown sounds like he is a stud.

At this point, id be surprised if the starter were Mack. I wouldn't be shocked, but definitely surprised. All signs point to Keelon. I think it would already be announced if the press conference today had been Grubb and not DeBoer.

I'm not concerned about who the QB starter will be. I think either one can win games. Mack has vastly improved since last year. And Keelon is a fast learner. My concern is the OL. Recent reports were positive. So we'll see. I think the defense will be much improved over last year's. And they were not terrible last year. I'm ready to Roll Tide Roll. Tee it up!

If the OL is going to take a step this year... It is about time for them to be getting the timing and coordination down. That would be a massive step forward.

They're talking the talk. But we've heard that before, only to be disappointed at crunch time to the point of embarrassment.

I hope what we're hearing is accurate. But I'm withholding judgement until I see them walk the walk against somebody that matters.

Even more so, show me something by going out there and DOMINATING the ECU front 7.

Well he can’t transfer until December, and he’d forfeit any NIL deals if he just left the team. Regardless, I don’t see him leaving until the season is over. By all accounts, he’s a good kid and teammate.
Not questioning his character ; at all. But; he is 20 years old and has 2 years of eligibility left and I am sure he believes he can get to the next level. He does not have to transfer; he could sit out and save a year of eligibility. Who could a blame him if he thinks he is not going to play and advance his NFL chances.?
Probably won't happen; but people will be talking to him.
