I just hope the team plays hard--and not uptight-- in the bowl game and gets a win. Clemson may be inferior to us but....honestly so is Auburn and we know how that game ended. We need to end this season on a positive note.

Exactly my thought. LSU was better than Clemson last year and you remember how that turned out.

Do you think Bama/Clemson will be that bad in ratings? LSU/Baylor sounds pretty interesting.

Nationally, little interest. Clemson will travel like maniacs. Bama???? Why would folks want to go back to Miami for such a game? I like the possibility of Bama and Stanford also, though I doubt it will come to pass.:BigA:

Clemson practically runs the Gus Bus Offense up there in South Carolina...so there's that "can we stop it" factor.

I am not sure how Bama responds...they're going to be playing someone they should beat handily, yet will their hearts be in it? If it affected the players anywhere near as bad as it did the fans, there is cause to worry IMO. Forget about 2010. Bama had a shot at history and blew it; in 2010 it was just a bad loss.
I hope they understand the fans just want them to play their best and let the chips fall where they may. That didn't happen last Saturday.

I am praying we don't get Clemson. I'm sure Clemson is praying for the same.

It looks like it's them or UCF. Between those two, I'm hoping for Clemson.

I had rather see us in the Captial One or Outback because I can go to the game. Miami is really tough. I know the orange pays more but I would like to be able to go.

We lost our opportunity last Saturday, there are way to many people who do not like the way Bama got into the game the last 2 years & no matter who beats who, I really think our chances are slim at best. They changed the whole system because of the out cry over Bama vs LSU rematch, it will not happen the last year of the BCS. If this was next year we have a shot.

My kids went to the Cap1 bowl & Bama was very motivated. I really don't see what happened in 09 being repeated.
