SEC Preview and Predictions: Week 8

The Predictions Dept. keeps rolling along with solid weeks so far in 2026, but this week will be a challenge. Alabama-Tennessee is the marquee matchup, but Ole Miss-Georgia and Vanderbilt-LSU are right on the doorstep. Even the games down the ticket have the potential to be interesting.

I disagree Jess. the pressure is all on Lsu. Vandy losing is not going to shock anyone. They actually will play loose and do what they do best and score quickly esp. at home. does Lsu have an offense that can match them if a shootout occurs??

I note that UAB passed for 371 yards on these guys and that without three turnovers Arkansas probably would have beaten them. Their whole may be a decent amount less than the sum of the parts.
