I love how Tua taught Crimson Tide fans how to pronounce his NAME. I've seen several commentators on ESPN MISPRONOUNCE it. Why didn't they just view the youtube of him teaching how to pronounce Tagovailoa.

Thanks for sharing that video.

As soon as I heard about his recruitment I began following him....I told my family that as talented as he was, his greatest assets were his leadership and how kids naturally gravitated to him. I knew he would have an impact, but I had no clue his impact would be as great or as broad as it’s been.

One of a kind.....

Actually...it is “we” who belong to “him”...for he has stolen our hearts, and we have pledged our loyalty.

Now we can relate to all of the old timers who talk about "Joe Willie" in his prime..... and such....

Or how we discuss "DT" and how dominant he really was.....

He is amazing! Proud that he belongs to us....

I've never really followed recruiting, but my oldest son does. A few years ago, he told me, "We're getting a quarterback out of Hawaii who's supposed to be amazing."

And he is.

God bless Tua.

I find myself coming back to this thread. I don't mind letting you know that I tear up every time I watch this video. Thanks to jthomas666 and others who have posted it.

Please forgive me if I indulge you fine people with a repeated post on my memories of Tua. I believe the post belongs here a little more than where I placed it.

These thoughts go through my mind as I watch this video. Thanks again for the wonderful memories Tua...

Tua...Your amazing talent was so beautiful to watch during crisp autumn Saturdays as you rained down a virtuoso of aerial exploits on all of your opponents.

Tua...Watching you play was truly a joy. Whether against top notch or lesser opposition, I so looked forward to seeing your dazzling passes as you pinpointed them to your receivers with a seemingly effortless flick of the wrist.

Tua...Time is so fleeting. It seemed like you just started with the Crimsons and all of a sudden you are gone. Like the splash of paint on a masterpiece, the splash of you on the Tuscaloosa gridiron is also gone.

Tua...I will always remember how you brought excitement and perfection to the quarterback position. I will always remember your smile and peaceful grace in a very violent game.

Tua...Thank you for coming to the Capstone. You have brought me amazing memories that I will never forget.

Tua...Get well and show the NFL what a role model and amazing quarterback truly is as you continue to show others that God-given talent and grace that few possess.
