I hear sometimes.....well this guy has a commitable offer. Others...just an offer. Like I hear 2014 players say they have an offer from CNS. Then I see tweets from others asking about the nature of the offer. I saw one tweet from someone at the AJC that suggested offers to Juniors are not really commitable but just to get the kid into camp. Then maybe post camp they may get a commitable offer is what was implied. I was just wondering practically how this works or how distinctions are drawn. I would think once a coach leaves a kid's house, they know what is on the table or where they stand? The recruit may like it or not. For example, I would assume Golson did not like being the back up to Tunsil so he opted to look elsewhere. I was curious as to how this goes down in the real recruiting world. I would assume an offer to say a junior is a legit offer. And I would assume a lot is said or there is a mutual understanding. Like if you shop, then we may shop and the offer is on the table but can be taken off the table if say a recruit who commits then opts to visit elsewhere.
