Sherrone Moore being fired for cause by Michigan...

The felony third degree home invasion is punishable by up to 5 years in prison. I know nothing about law but I imagine if Moore has a good attorney he'd find a way to get the time reduced or avoided by claiming Moore has serious mental issues that require psychiatric treatment.
I’m not expert, but I think he’s got a case for mental instability.

Looks like he may be going from The Big House to The Big House.

I wonder if being held without charges was at his request to avoid going home and having a face-to-face with his wife. He sure as $&@! wasn’t going to be sleeping in his own bed after this.

I read that AD saved his job for a year, many speculate he is needed with no coach and no school president. As soon as those issues are resolved, he is gone. Why would you want Ward Manual to hire the next coach.?

Wow. So Moore tried to save his job by firing Shiver. And she said oh heck no, she provided the school with evidence of the affair . I understand wanting to save your job, but she really didn’t save her job. She may think her job is safe, but there’s no way she can continue working at Michigan. It’s just an ugly mess for all parties involved.
Two things that come out in other stories I read an AP story that Moore was fired without an HR rep or anyone else at the time except for Warde Manual . Manual should have known the termination may not go well.
ESPN made mention that rumors were flying around Ann Arbor the summer of 2025 about their affair.
Who says she was trying to save her job? More like, she no longer had a reason to keep quiet. I’m pretty sure she will be fine financially after this.

ESPN reporting she broke it off with him on Monday. He began calling / texting her and it was those actions that caused her to go to the school, confirm the relationship and provide proof. School previously investigated but didn’t have proof. Now that she came forward and admitted it, they fired him.

She broke up with him. He kept trying to contact and it drove her to talk to the school and torpedo him. She denied it previously but his actions caused her to come forward. Sounds like dude did it to himself because he couldn’t let go.

She's unfireable. Completely. She will own that athletic department.

In lieu of firing her, MI will probably pay her millions to go away and not sure.

Yep... Have seen this play out... Their lawyers should seek a tidy little settlement, write the check, take her signed statement not pursuing the matter, and she can walk out the door set for many years.

... unless they interviewed her prior to Monday (which they almost certainly did) and she lied about the relationship. Then you fire her for lying / insubordination / something. Interesting that she called her lawyer first before calling 911 when Moore came into her apt.

If so I hope they have recordings for their sake...

Probably won't matter. I had this situation happen at a previous job. A corporate director was sleeping with his admin. They lied about it, eventually got caught. He was invited to resign and she was transferred to a different department.

She. Was. Untouchable. Fire her for lying? Fine, sexual harassment suit incoming.

Much easier to just pay her to go away in this case. Cheaper that lawyer fees AND taking the chance of getting roflstomped in court.

Well, She Unterminated herself after being fired by Moore by talking to the AD. Sounds like she was trying to save her job.

So Moore gets terminated for a relationship with a staffer, but the staffer gets to keep their job? That seems like it would work both ways. But I guess we already now it had nothing with the affair, because they buried this for a long time. They just wanted him gone because they didn't like him as a coach, which is weird because he was doing a solid job. He certainly did way better than I ever thought he would. It was always going to be a little rebuild after the championship year and losing Harbaugh.
