Hate to say it but in a place where football is so primary, she may have not truly trusted the police.

You would be amazed what people will do. Or at least I still am. Repeated phone calls, 100s of texts, driving by the house repeatedly, threats like "I'm watching what you do," etc. can make up enough to get the indictment.

In many cases the stalking charge is just leverage for the DA to get the stalker to agree to and abide by a restraining order. They basically suspend prosecution of the stalking charge and if the creep shows up again (which they, sadly, often do) they resurrect it and try to get a judge to throw the book at them.

There is a report that he blew her phone up on the regular so maybe stalking? . This was from MGoBlog report so take it for what it is worth or rumor.
They also report his wife is in the transfer portal.

I think it is worth noting that she has an attorney . If this all blew up this week. Did she hire an attorney when Michigan began snooping or did she just feel the need to contact one.

I've seen Jemele Hill actually BE CAPABLE of providing a coherent argument some 15-17 years ago on "First Take" or whatever they changed the name of "Cold Pizza." The woman is NOT dumb by any stretch.

But she's another in the long line of performers who learned that there's more grifting, money, and fame in playing a caricature of a reporter than actually being one. Skip Bayless has never been as moronic as he has pretended to be for years, either. It's like pro wrestling, it's a niche.

"I can be a smart guy and make a living at a small paper or I can pretend to be dumber than fly dung and become a multi-millionaire." Remember - John Calvin or Thomas Aquinas would never stay on the air broadcasting religious things but Ernest Angley, Jim Bakker (who reminds me of Tattoo on "Fantasy Island") and Robert Tilton and so many others can be found out and exposed - and go right back to making a bunch as entertainers.

Any interaction is a good interaction, I don’t think the internet cares if it’s good or bad.

She. Was. Untouchable. Fire her for lying? Fine, sexual harassment suit incoming.

Much easier to just pay her to go away in this case. Cheaper that lawyer fees AND taking the chance of getting roflstomped in court.

Fire for her for lying and she sues you and claims she lied because he threatened her if she told the truth. You know the guy that eventually broke in her home and grabbed a knife and threatened her life. Easy Peasy...she is in a good spot regardless.

I'm sure Megan Rondini has something to say about that. Police in college towns tend to look the other way for people with a name.
