Today's game is only the second game I have been able to see significant parts of on TV. From what I saw, we are having some problems with our outside shooting, even when they are open. Meade just doesn't look confident and Shelton looked very shaky.

Has this been the case all year so far?

Can we expect the two who have not yet played (but hopefully will be playing soon) to help from outside?

With Dudley and Walker playing as expected inside, we will need to make teams respect us from the outside or defenses will zone or double team the big guys to death.

I believe we will be fine with our perimeter shooting. As the season progresses the 3's will begin to fall as long as we are shooting them when we have good looks at the basket. Williams, Pettway, and Shelton are our best 3 point shooters. Meade can be and I think will be once he gains confidence again. Thomas has been shooting a lot of 3's but I'm not so sure that's his strong point.

As the season goes along, teams will definitely have to worry about our outside game. The one thing that I'm concerned with right now is our guards not penetrating to the basket enough to create instant offense. As the season progresses I'm sure we'll grow into a more complete offensive team. I'm certainly not complaining with a 6-0 record and a #3 ranking. RTR !!!
