Hello all. I am fairly new to the site so I'm not sure if this has been discussed but I would like to know if any one has any insight on the gameplan, as of today ESPN is not listing the Bama game this weekend and I'm not sure if anything will be on payperview locally, because I'm in New Mexico. Does anyone know when I should give up hope and pay for the yahoo thing so I can at least listen. Thanks

Contact your local cable company. I believe there was a thread here yesterday about how either DirecTV or DishNetwork had updated their site to show that this game was in fact being carried, despite the omission on ESPN's site.

I'm guessing that it will be carried. Like I said, though, your local cable company will know more and should be able to give you a solid answer.

As to whether or not you should get it, it all depends on if you want to spend the $99, or perhaps just go week by week at $20 a pop.

If Bama is on GamePlan 5 times, you break even. If not, it's best to do it week by week (if you don't care about other games, that is).

It's really up to you.

are they offering the single day package

like they did last season? i believe i paid 17.95 or so :) all i see on the website is the 99.00 season package :conf3:

Last couple of years all the gameplan Bama games were blacked out in Atlanta Area with DirecTV.
That's absurd (though I'm not doubting you.) The university website said it was PPV in Atlanta and Tennessee and on Gameplan everywhere else.

I think you meant "PPV in Alabama and Tennessee..." I've been a victim of the Atlanta blackout too, however absurd it is. I've never gotten a good explanation of why.
