That's gorgeous, @Bazza !

It's the nicest condition example since my first one in 1997. That one was originally white - and had been repainted yellow and a really nice job too - you couldn't even tell it was a re-paint. I still have that one in my garage awaiting refurbishment, which is next on my project list.

I always wanted a white one and finally found it so am pretty stoked!

I might need to pry one from your hands. :)

Quite a few different generations to choose from......

There's a decent '97 on B.A.T. right now if you don't mind Red......

Tempting but I really don't want red.

Also, it would probably shock you to know how much I spend on my home hifi systems. :)

Can't blame you on the Red. And I bet I wouldn't be as shocked as you may think. You get to know someone after a while - even on a message board. I know and appreciate your passion for excellence in audio!

Money well spent, IMHO! ;)

@crimsonaudio - probably not what you are looking for but good example of how these sometimes just pop up on the classifieds.....

From one of my VFR forums - about someone finding and buying this '83 VF750.....

Posted comments:

The Craigslist ad was a little sparse on details, but said the bike has been parked for 23 years. What he didn't mention was that he is the original owner. There were 2 pics with a quarter next to tiny scratches. We thought, if he's taking those pics are they the only scratches? Yep.

The dude bought it new from Everett Honda. It's all there and pretty damn nice. Has never been crashed or even tipped over.

30K miles, $1800. (Asking $2400)

Yes, it needs... everything.

Dang, that looks like an awesome project.

I'm WAY more into reviving old things rather than buying new. That interceptor looks like an awesome refurb bike.,

Cult following for these bikes too.....TONS of resources and social media groups so plenty of info if needed.

Here's my first one I bought back in the late 90's. Originally white and PO re-painted it yellow. It's in my garage waiting to be awoken......

To heck with B.A.T.......picked up my second RC15 today from a CL ad. This time I couldn't ride her home but that's OK. That's why I have this little aluminum trailer! :)

This is a Euro version of the one I bought back in July. Bought it from the original owner who purchased it in Germany and raced it in the AMA for one year...but never laid her down.

Hasn't run in a few years so will have to go through the entire fuel system plus the clutch and brake hydraulics. And replace those dopey looking aftermarket blinkers.

The Euro models had the gold wheels and the speedo is in KM's. Also has the red stripes. Maybe some other things.....still researching.....

Only 9,480 miles! Fairings all there......with a few scratches.

I will no longer be browsing any classifieds.....I'm done for a while.....:)

So if the speedometer is in kilometers then so is the mileage, correct? 9480 kilometers would be 5890 miles.
