Really, we're talking about science from the a Rolling Stone article? NG had an article several years ago about the Arctic Ocean being a large warm water sea eons ago. The Earth's climate changes, always has, always will.

This is what I don't understand about the GW discussion. We know for a fact that the earths climate has changed. There is undeniable proof of it. Not 70 years worth of data, but thousand of years worth of data. Guess what, the fact that the earth isn't covered in ice now and it was at one point tells me the climate has always been changing.

Heh. I wonder why this article didn't appear a couple of years ago when we had the most snow fall in generations.
Believe it or not, warmer = more snow.

Air at 30 F holds more moisture than Air at 25 F, ie more precipitation in the winter. Obviously my response is oversimplified, but your generalization is wrong. Cue the "Constitution" or a "Big Government" argument.....

Yes, and Magic Johnson won't be around to see the 21st century because AIDS is going to wipe out America.

And the ozone hole will burn us to a crisp.

14 dead from West Nile Virus & they splash it on the news. More than that die every single day of other kinds of flu & it doesn't even make news.

Warmer = colder. Got it. ;)

And the "big government" argument comes from the climate hysteria crowd that thinks the government offers solutions.

Thats a poor example for a denier to use. Science spoke, government listened and today its not the growing threat it once was.

In 1988 Ted Danson said the planet's oceans would be dead within 10 years. We're now 24 years removed from his prophetic vision so whatever he did must have saved them.
