I wish you were wrong, but I have to agreeUT is THE most improved team in the SEC this year. I can only tip my hat to LK for the job he and his staff are doing even if he is a flake. They have talent on the field and will have even more next recruiting class. The question mark for next year is at QB and I have no idea what they have coming back.
How many drives have the Vols had that started further than the Gamecocks' 30 yard line? 1. And that one started at the Gamecocks' 43 yard line. So it's not like the D of South Carolina has been exposed or anything.USCe and Ole Miss two SEC powerhouses. Makes our offense look pedestrian.
The "bones" on the helmets of Georgia (for good games/plays/etc.) that Mark Richt installed were the start.I really thought the Viles are one of the teams in the SEC that had a strong sense of tradition and would not resort to gimmicks like black jerseys. I'm really surprised. Of course we can all look at their head coach and nothing should surprise us. I think the jerseys look terrible, but I like them better than the puke orange jerseys.uke:I really mean no offense to our Tennessee fans here on Tide Fans because we have a few that are all right, but I hate the color orange.
Georgia did their thing with black jerseys last year against Bama and promptly got their head handed to them. They wore black helmets today and got their brains beat out. Gimmicks with uniforms do not give you a mental edge in football.
I think it is sad to see teams in the SEC resort to the uniform changes especially at schools with such a rich tradition like Tennessee and Georgia.
Sort of like gold stars in Sunday School...The "bones" on the helmets of Georgia (for good games/plays/etc.) that Mark Richt installed were the start.

Usually a couple of times a year there are people here on Tide Fans that start a thread on uniform changes for Alabama. Count me as one of the people that don't want to see a thing done to our uniforms. The Alabama uniform is one of the most recognizable in college football. They are classic. We don't need black jerseys, crimson pants, and "A" on our helmets, white helmets, black helmets or elephant tusk stickers on our helmets and I think it's sad to see programs like Tennessee and Georgia playing around with their uniforms.
Sorry for getting sidetracked on this thread.
Now, that's a great idea. Ducks wouldn't dive bomb a crimson field...would they? And I was gonna say I wanted houndstooth helmets, crimson pants, with script "A" on them, White shoes. Lets even paint the Field ALL crimson.
sorry, I had to post...lol
