I really do respect all the programs out there.. I do. And Georgia is one of those I always know is going to be a factor. But the SECCG thread nudged me a little. Memories. Gamewise? They dont matter much I know...but common sense screams out here. Wouldn't you think....that the average Dawg fan...and the question loses merit right there...that anyone who has watched the last 10 or 12 games Bama and Georgia have played...would be of a cautious nature in running the proverbial rap?? History says....usually doesnt work out well for the boys in red and black and blue. Fine program but if I am Georgia...I dont really want to talk trash going into the Bama game.

Well..just the venom and overconfidence followed by tantrums and coach hating. 100% of Georgia fans I have known personally...heard on stadiums...ex-players...seen on message boards...heck..even their ex-coaches are anything but reasonsble when a rival (and it was that way in 1965) comes into a Georgia football conversation. And I think Georgia is good..sometimes elite. A huge difference btween them and most fans.

Have they been talking (lately)... Was there something specific that prompted this thread? Have I missed something?

All fans do a certain amount of all that. We all know that. I still seethe about the 1999-06 post railroad job done by SEC members and office. But man....who wouldnt have? Tide fans I mean. But I dont hate schools for junk like that. I dont pull for them.

No no... the thread about SECCGs versus Georgia. Post about Georgia fans being worse than LSU or UT or whoever. Just thinking about how many times has Bama gone into that game and cleaned their clocks? Been that way as far back as Joe Namath days. Not a real thread...just a question. We usually do win that game whether awards are on the line or not.

Waxing poetic or day-drinking?

I get what you are saying.
I had a kinsman who used to live in Georgia and UGA fans acted the way you would think of a program that won national championships every other year and won two SEC Championships every three years. Really full of themselves, not realistic like, "I sure hope the Dawgs beat Bama this year, and think this might be the year." There is a detachment from recent history, or any history. UGA is a good program, sometimes a very good program, but one national championship in the last half-century does not make them exactly a fearsome juggernaut.

You want to get under the skin of a UGA fan...It's simple, remind them that they're a decade behind Ga Tech in winning their last NC...Ga Tech...or just say Roll Tide!!!

You are missing the point OP, I have heard several times on sports radio that Georgia left 24-35 points on the field in the Bama and Florida games. Now that Georgia added the best QB in college football, JT Daniels, I think the athletic department petitioned the SEC to retroactively award those points and Georgia actually won those games! The fanbase believes that in their heart of hearts! I actually heard this very scenario talked about ! DELUSIONAL! I guess if JT were on the field , Bama wouldn’t gain 643 yards of offense. Maybe JT throws footballs on defense that knocks down our balls , or runners or receivers🤷🏻‍♂️???
