Just curious. I am about to remodel my Sports (BAMA) room and I wante dot get some input. I plan on putting some kind of border about chair rail height and paint the walls above the border Crimson. I also am planning a built in for the TV/PS2/Stereo unit. It will also take care of the PC station too.

Now above the PC and above the table with my kids VSmile gaming system the ceiling slants at a good angle. I was thinking about putting a Checkered flag over the PC, and a BAMA A flag above the table/Kenny Stabler signed jersey. What do you think?

Anyone else have any ideas? I also need to come up with some sort of end table for the futon.

Yeah! Being from Birmingham I was always an Allison/ Alabama Gang fan. But seeing as they arrent around anymore. I have picked up being a fan of the driver my work sponsors. Plus he's pretty good.

Our home office is very similar and it's dedicated to

Bama memorabilia as well! Personally, I would separate the Nascar stuff from the Bama stuff by walls and then use the chair rail to add a cool look. For instance, with a Nascar wall, I'd have a checkered flag type of chair rail or some sort of Nascar border and on the Alabama wall(s) I use an Alabama border as a chair rail and then use a muted background color (not white) for the wall, You could use a soft grey for all of the walls since it would work with both Bama stuff and Nascar stuff.

Just some thoughts.

Put in some of the fake turf like that stuff the Brady Bunch had in their back yard. Mark it off with yardlines, then put a single set of steel bleachers against one wall. Paint the room to look like the view from the 50 yard line at BDS, and get a 60 inch HDTV to put against the wall opposite the bleachers. Get a popcorn machine and a sound system installed playing the MDB cd. Boo Auburn fans if they walk into the room. ;)

I think you should knock down the walls and expand it by about 10 to 12 feet, carpet it with a green turf rug that has a football field layed out on it, and then fill the room with just about every piece of Bama memorabilia you can find. At least that's what I hope to do when I move into my next house. Don't know where my wife will go though ;)

I don't have any pictures yet but

I painted 2 walls crimson and 2 walls white. Hung pictures with black frames on the crimson wall and cherry framed pictures on the white wall. Stallings autographed ball on one side of the TV and Shula Ball on the other. I couldn't find any Bama border that didn't look cheap and it was all high as all get out.

Oh yeah, I put the nascar stuff in my other room. But that slanted ceiling would look good with a BIG BAMA or ROLL TIDE in block letters on it. just my 2 cents.

First of all, Do not do a wall paper boarder, they are out of style!
You can make you a templet and hand paint Alabama A's where ever you want them. The warm needs some warmth, try adding some light browns with your crimson walls. One of my Homemade 3 foot A's sure would look good in that room, are you close to Albertville???
