Actually, I heard Spurrier was interested in being the next OC over on the plains...

(OK, no I didn't...but it's not much beyond some of the other state of Alabama coaching rumors percolating around these past couple of weeks... )

We can all make fun of Borges and Tubby but I will say this, Borges is a pretty darn good OC, whether he is HC material is to be seen. As for Tubby, he isn't afraid to fire someone and isn't afraid to make changes if things are not working. I can't stand him, his ears or his fingers but he has owned us for the last 5 years and can recruits good co-ordinators and isn't afraid to fire one if he isn't getting the job done.

Well I hope to God they get him...and good riddance. Lol! He's a fine coach but was wearing the wrong colors. He'll do well as a head coach and maybe he can concentrate on beefing up the Pac-10 now instead of plaguing us.
