Start dates announced for 2020-2021 season

Just thought I'd start a new thread to put them both together as really didn't see any existing thread that applied. Mods, feel free to move / delete, if needed. Glad to see everything coming together. While still early, every day makes me feel better about the possibility that the season will happen this year.

SEC has now given a start date(s) of 12/29 and 12/30 (not sure why the two dates)

I doubt this is a popular opinion, but I would like Nov 25 (around Thanksgiving) to be the beginning of basketball season every year.
I am a season ticket holder.... Usually most of the pre SEC home basketball games are sorry games.

I agree with you. I don't like the huge overlap of football and basketball.
