I'm good. I told my wife walking down in front of Sorority row as we were headed to our gate to go in, that regardless of the outcome of the game, all those smug looks were going to get wiped off of some faces. I wanted to start the wiping, but it's all good. They are gonna get theirs, and I'll remind them of it every opportunity.

Right, truthfully, I do console myself to some extent with that. And then in coming years......they may not do so well against us. That's just a guess, of course!!!!!!!!!

I barely slept last night as the realization seemed to have hit me hardest yesterday. I've tried to just STOP thinking about it, but can't. Besides the whole hating the barn thing, I'm even MORE torn about the way it happened. That's what's eating me up. In our OWN NEW & improved HOUSE, it broke our HOME winning streak, it broke our finger counting streak. It's FRKN HISTORY and it seemed no matter how hard our players tried it just wasn't meant to be. ur team being in complete control then losing it I guess is why it's so hard for us to accept. I'm sorry, but the barn IMO was NOT, NOT, NOOOOOOOTTTTTT the better team. They got frkn lucky AGAIN!!!! WE beat ourselves all over the field. :mad2:

Oh and the 1-7 @ BDS!!! Even if the barn has to vacate all their wins this season in the future it still does not give us a win.

Im with ya buddy. I can't seem to get over it either. I spend all night and day replaying the miscues over and over in my head. You would think I was coaching the damn team. Wonder how Nick deals with these things:)

I don't mind a little pain...I just hate to hurt.
1-7 in BDS and 2-7 in the last 9 years to the boogs is a tough pill.
I would have probably liked it better if it was 30-0 and not close.
This team chemistry and predictable nature has cost us our edge with even superior talent.

i'm over the loss. living in extreme western mississippi, there's very few allbarn fans around. i still catch hell from lswho fans on a daily basis, however!!

my biggest concern now is this team getting its problems fixed!

I said today at work..and a co-worker told me I was crazy...but I think we end up pulling a 2009 Sugar Bowl and get plowed in a bowl game. I just don't think the hang-over from this game will go away before our bowl game. I hope I'm wrong but have a gut feeling I'm not.

About an hour after the game I got over it. There is nothing I can do about losing nor about the goobers still calling BD JH West. Nothing I can about the fools who vote dropping us like a hot potato. Nothing I can do about Cam winning the Heisman nor the goobers (if) they wing the whole thing. So I have moved on. Why stew over something you can't do anything about? That is wasted time and effort.

Boy was it a tough day at the office guys, Allbarnn fans were coming out from every rock you could imagine to gloat even played their fight song over our pa system. Please let it end. And the good news is with our coach at the helm, im sure it will. I don't think ive been excited about an imcoming class in a long time ie Jesse Williams, and others. I just hope barn takes it easy and acts like they have some class. Even though it will pro bably be stretch for some of them, I dont remember rubbing things in their faces last year. But they sure have!

Wow! It's that sort of can't stand to lose, inconsolable, no hope, shame filled mentality that drives grown men with more money than some entire countries... to cheat at all costs. I was over it by the time I got back home Friday night.

The emotion I felt most was anger. I hope the players are reminded of this loss the entire off season, that it eats at them the same way the Florida loss a couple of years ago did. I hope that they can take that ugly loss, one of the worst in the program's long history, and use it to get better - back to championship quality football.

The more I think about it the worse it becomes. We may never get a chance to destroy their season like we had this year. This was the perfect opportunity to put them in their rightful place.:frown:

Frustrated more than "hurt". But, my area is finance, and I lecture a lot about long-term planning (corporate and otherwise). Coach Saban is building something that will last a long time. Does that mitigate all the risks of short-term failure? No. However, we are building a rugged, time-tested fortress on a rock and the boogs are building an enormous sand castle....And the tide will eventually come rollin' in like it always does. Tearing down that temporary masterpiece, and replacing it with...nothing! That makes for sunnier days ahead, my friend! This temporary pain will only enhance our future winnings!

Stay cool....

At the end of the day it is just a game. Yes it hurt but still it is just a game, church put that in perspective for me this week. I know not everyone here is Christian like I am but if you are remember this folks

"No one can serve two masters; for either he will hate the
one and love the other, or he ...will be devoted to the one and despise the
other. You cannot serve God and mammon." Matthew 6:24

It hurts but it will be ok. I take it way to serious at times, i think once we all start to remember why we enjoy it it want cause so much stress.
