Game Thread: Sugar Bowl: Florida vs. Louisville

  • Hi Guest, we are working on updating the site servers and software. We're also 'forcing' everyone to read and agree to our site privacy policy and terms of service. There are no significant changes to either of these but the terms page does clarify a few things that are mostly in the legalese. You can just click the checkbox for both and continue using the site as usual! We'll update you more on the site upgrades VERY soon! THANK YOU AS ALWAYS for supporting the site and being an active participant!

This game (and the circumstances leading up to it) remind me of a certain Sugar Bowl a few years ago we forgot to show up at and got our arse similarly handed to us by an inferior opponent...

you don't care to show up to the sugar bowl? Thats a silly take. Don't be myopic. Louisville is the better football team out there. period.
This may be hard for your fanbase to believe, but going to usually Sugar Bowl is disappointing for a SEC team. It means you didn't play for the NC. That is the goal for all of us, and the Sugar Bowl is merely a consolation prize.

Yes, but.............

In one case, a team was demoralized, and had to play 3 OLM out of position. The other merely thinks all they had to do was show up. Oops...........

Florida is cooked. This is about how I see the BCSCG going, but with Bama having a slightly higher score at this point than Louisville.
You still got to play the game. Don't know if Florida is not focused, came out flat or just not disciplined tonight. Kind of embarassing for the SEC for them to act like Thugs though.
