Take Brandon Brooks off Punt returns'!

Brandon Brooks does not need to be back there pirod returning punts' he always drops' the ball I have only seen him once do anything. Shula needs to step up and take control. Paythro seems to do great or even Chris James does great. Justtake Brandon out, this isn't the making of Rudy.

I feel...

that he's more of a weapon on kickoff returns than punts. There's more time for the catch and there's more time and opportunity for him to get "lost" behind the blockers. And, of course, more opportunity for him to find a seam - which he needs...

Honestly, I don't know why Matt Caddell isn't our main return man. He owns all sorts of high school return records. I can understand the worries about potential injuries, but I, for one, would at least see what he could offer.

thing is he mightve got out there in practice and couldnt catch a punt. we'll never know unless some of us have seen him practice for two years. ive wondered that too but i guess we'll never know

Who was the last returner take a kick back for a touchdown? Brandon Brooks. He is a great returner on both kick and punt. He is dropping the ball because he has rarely got a staright kick, think back to the Utah Sate Game when he did get a good kick he bobbled it but turned it into a good return. Even the best returner bobbles the ball.

Boy.....I've been bringing this up all year....just no one has paid attention. The fact is he has not done well at punt return, but has done well at KO returns.

He needs to learn to fair catch! and not inside the 10 either. There's times he looks great and there's times I would like to kick him in the butt :mad2: .

Take Brooks off!

Amen. What was it that Brother Oliver said about punt returns. Many people bashed him and his comments. Say what you want, but Brother Bill knows feetball.

Yes 15 for 37 about 2.5 yards a return thats impressive! Not to mention failing to catch some, catching some inside the 10,and fumbles. This costs imp. field position every game this year.

brooks is a better kickoff returner because the ball is coming in at a different(easier) angle. i cringe every time he goes back to field a punt because i've seen him be so inconsistent at catching them. and i'm not talking about just this year either. i've went to numerous practices in spring and the a-day game. fact is, he drops probably 1 out of 5 at least. even after he catches it he is still a threat to fumble. granted, a good kick returner because he has blazing speed and is so tiny, but he is not comfortable catching punts. that is a fact!!!
