Talking Season 2026

"Three ESPN experts, Eli Lederman, Max Olson, and Adam Rittenberg," is all you need to know about this one. What is the criteria to be an "ESPN expert" anyway? Know how to get to the office and make content out of shear nonsense?

I think the criteria for being an expert on espn is being able to spell their name right while also having an IQ under 100.

I didn't expect anything less from Cignetti. You could tell in his pre bowl game interview where the two coaches are sitting at the table a few days before the game, that he didn't have much respect for the Alabama team and a few times borderline started laughing. He knew he was going to skull drag us. You had reporters who covered the Hoosiers team talk about how the coaches had already seen enough of our film that they knew they were going to win. He ultimately got to do what he wanted to do and that was embarrass Alabama on a national stage and he continues to do so. The ball's in our court...
Ball is certainly in our court. Only problem is that not sure how us or any SEC team will compete in the playoff in the foreseeable future due to strength of schedule in the regular season. The big 2 holds all the cards as well as deep pockets like TTech, SMU and the like. Need some strong leadership in the SEC office to address this but not sure that will be available anytime soon either.

The fact that this piece exists tells you all you need to know about where we stand in the pantheon of college sports. Seems dude is more proud of the win against Alabama than actually winning the championship. This needs to be the first piece up in the UA locker room.

Even during the greatest moment of IU football history, they still have Bama on their minds. That is just sad.

Coach seams sincere about it. Let's see what happens:

"I really do believe that you don't win championships without a physical nature to your program," DeBoer said. "That happens through what you do in practice. That's what we want to become. I know what that looks like. We've done it in multiple places."
