Everyone is so high so Cam Just like Fla was on Tebow until he left and Fla just went down. You can build a team around one player but when that player is gone
the other players is not as good. Newton is good but he maybe be there next year and maybe not.:eek2:

I think the difference between the two is character (Laptops) and defensive talent. Florida would win double the games Auburn would without either one.

Imagine what Florida would be like with Cam Newton under center this year and of course a decent center.

Even at 65-21 = 44, that's still 20 more than we put up on Arky. I've noticed a severe inferiority complex among Bama fans over Cam. The kid is legit. Tearing him down is fun because he plays for the Barn, but he's single-handedly made Auburn legit.

Even so, Cam didn't make the mistakes. Cam put his team in the position to succeed and the running back made the mistake. I mean didn't Cam get them down to like the one and then hand off to McCaleb or something on that one? Cam made beating Arkansas look easy.

Cam is a great athlete, and has looked unstoppable at times. He has also looked inept at times as well. He has threw numerous bad interceptions and lost huge chunks of yardage trying to make something happen when under pressure. He looked unstoppable this last, but good grief, I don't think I've ever seen a more pathetic effort than the Hogs displayed Saturday. Some of you guys act like we shouldn't even show up in the Iron Bowl.

I agree, to a point, about Auburn as a team being legit. Cam has carried them but I want to see him play against a solid LSU defense that has the players to possibly neutralize his running skills. If the Barn can ride this horse the whole game and still pull out a win, then I will say the Barn is legit.

Cam is already the Heisman frontrunner so you are spot on about him.

Agreed - and there are FAR FAR better QBs than cam.
Another thing - when he is beat is it going to be his fault or the rest of the
teams fault? I say no but AU is headed the same route that Fla is going this year. Will another superhuman come along?

I think Cambow Newton is a very good football player. I also think Cambow is to the barn what Tebow was to the lizards'. The lizards had a much better defense and a lot more play makers while Tebow was there. Cambow doesn't have that luxury. Maybe the One Cam is all the barn needs. I still wouldn't bet on a one trick pony.

I think the real fear is the idea of Auburn and Cam Newton showing up and Bama showing up but not showing up like with South Carolina... I mean I can't stand Auburn and Cam Newton, but doesn't it put you a little on edge to think of what Spurrier and Garcia did? Go back and look at how long it took him to throw an incompletion.

With that being said, I've also told people talking about how great Cam Newton is this. We will try and contain him and force him to pass without blitzing too many. Because he seems to eat up large blitz packages. But again, we have a large Ace in the whole who can take him one on one and that man is Dont'a, he's big enough to put a lick on him to make him think twice..

But my biggest concern isn't losing or letting Cam Newton beat us, I'm more personally worried about Auburns mean tactics. They intentionally hurt players. Just look back at all their games, late hits with helmet to helpless spines. Arm snatching leg grabbing pure MEAN.. They aim to punish win or lose. We haven't played mean like that. Go back and watch the South Carolina game, helping lattimore up and being classy. Auburn's defense will spit on you.
