most of those numbers are correct, but tech has lead the nation in passing 3 straight years. Hodges was pretty banged up toward the end of the year (tech's bye week was week 1). TECH did outgain UT (in Austin), if it wasn't for a pick in the endzone, blocked punt, and various nervous play it would have been much closer, but tech still wouldn't have won.

Bama could come out and totally blast tech's OL, leaving tech in bad shape....
Let me just say I really respect what you guys have done. If Bama had an offense to go with our defense we may be playing for all the marbles. Actually our troubles are in the OL (Very Young). We also lost the leader on the OL (center) in the Mississppi State game. So now we are crippled pretty good. Brodie Croyle is the real deal but it's hard to pass on your fanny. Our best shot is to run the ball well enough to keep it away from your offense.

Don't be so pessimistic BN!

I think the Bama defense vs. the TT Offense is pretty intriguing.

Have any of you (other than TTA) seen TT play this year. They run the SUPER SPREAD offense!! I have never seen O-linemen get such huge splits. You could drive a Mack truck through those things.

This type of offense doesn't work real well against a very fast defense which can cover a lot of ground (see Bama D '05).

However, I think the biggest challenge will be getting through the first quarter without any of our players blowin' eggs and bacon on the field!
