I don't want to hear that Bama "looks pretty" in their uniforms. "Cool, tough, sick" (millenium lingo), et. al is what I'm looking for. Anything but "pretty."

crimsonbeachbum-------its not the ncaa logo thats on the jerseys..its the sec logo with the exact same pattern as the ncaa one....


i dont understand what the heck everyone's problem is w/ white helmets its not changing our jerseys at all its goin back to our classic look ..its going back to tradition???

i would hate white helmets, but that's just my opinion.

I think red pants would look cool, and leave the names on the uniforms. But I also like the forward pass, and think the internet is a cool thing too.

Hey, how about red shirts for the coaches and white pants and white caps and one red shoe and one white shoe? Oh and black socks

I agree that when Bama wears the crimson helmets and jerseys they have the best uniforms. However, some nostalgic touches I would like to see is put the numbers back on the sleeves and take the names off the back. And although I don't like white helmets in general, I think they look good with the road white jersey/pants brought back during the Perkins era. I don't think crimson pants would look good. Other uniforms I like are Notre Dame(home), LSU(white jersey), Ole Miss(red jersey), FSU (scarlet jersey/gold pants), Oklahoma (home) & UCLA(home). Some of the worst, Mich(hate the helmets), Tenn, Penn St, Miami, and of course Oregon.

What are some teams ya'll like/dislike?

I understand about the SEC logo being on the uniforms and that is NOT the issue here. I distinctly remember while watching one of our games (while fRan was HC), one of the broadcasters made a comment that coach fRan had removed the NCAA logos from our uniforms in protest for all of the sanctions that the NCCA had imposed on us at the time. My question was simply this: did we ever reinstate the NCAA logos back onto our uniforms if coach fRan did in fact, ever have them removed. I don't know for a fact that the logos were ever actually removed - I just remember that a broadcaster made a comment eluding to that during a game. PS, no need to give me the "angry face" just because you don't understand the context of my question/post. Keep it light and enjoy life!

yeah, i remeber that exact question. he said he "really didn't like wearing anything with that logo on it". however, it never was on our jerseys, it was on the back of our helmets. anyway, i remember that same game i was watching on tv, i look, and there is the logo still on the back of the helmet. i was like, "i thought he said we took them off". anyway, it doesnt matter.

sorry lol i wasnt givin u any angry face i did it b/c everybody hates the white helmets but ...i dont ever remember any ncaa logo being on the jerseys at all...

Ever heard of Don Hutson, Dixie Howell, Harry Gilmer? The forward pass is nothing new to ALABAMA football. As for the internet, I think we all think the internet is cool or else we wouldn't be having this discussion.
