Jo-Jo, If it had been in the minors also 1st batter would be drilled. I'm all for scoring as many runs as possible via hits,bb, but to attempt to steal a base with a ten run lead is in violation of the unwritten rule of baseball, even CMJ knows that.

Well Reeder I for one will not agree to disagree, I will however say that I think since I have been watching baseball for the past 50 years I have seen all the dos and dont's,....... I also beleive that I am mature enough to see and accept both sides... of this little argument.....
Ya should have seen an Grapefruit league game down here oh I guess it was about 20 years ago, when the Cards were playing the Reds in St. Pete at Al Lang Park, (Now Florida Progress), anyway the Cards tried a squeezeplay while up by 8 runs, Ya would have thought somebody had just killed someone... (MASS MAYHEIM), another one of those little dont's, but the point being this was Spring Training and teams are forever working on things like that..
In your case hear I agree 'Bama was a very hot team going into this game, nothing to say they couldn't put up quite a few more runs.....
