Two things to take away from this game:

1. Ole Miss "ole miss" themselves again.
2. The Legend of Mighty Mouse continues to grow, especially in his head.

IOW, nothing new came from this game.

I dunno............

Hugh Freeze is much worse at calling plays than we thought?

Bo Wallace is.............well, Bo Wallace. So, nothing new there. Never mind.

I'll have to shut up about the A&M defense not being bad. I still think the defense is capable of making stops, and is probably a victim of the tempo of the offense to a certain extent... but either way, it's a clear liability.

Ole Miss almost pulled it off. I was rooting for them, too. I was born in Oxford and both my folks went to Ole Miss during the Archie Manning years. Pity.

Ole Miss abandoned the run with 3 minutes to go. They tried to rely on Bo Wallace's arm, but went 3 and out - only taking 22 seconds off the clock with 3 incomplete passes. Bad play calling on ole miss...

I think their offense actually looked better with the backup qb in.

It did. I would have just left him in. He basically did what he wanted to do.
