The MSU game is not going to be a pushover, will win NMS, the next 4 games will be jet roaring games. Jet Gate will start again after the Arkansas game. Whew, Tubs may not be around for the Bama game, just ask Terry Bowden :)

I disagree. MSU might have beat Tulane, but that really isn't saying much. I think MSU and NMS will both be creampuff games. Florida will crush them, Vandy might beat them. Arky will give them a run for their money and maybe beat them, and LSU will dump their remains in the bayou.
But the aubie faithful aren't going to dump tubby :bigear: until after his second consecutive losing season.
The only thing that might change is if the administrators at Michigan make a phone call to the cow college.

I see 2 almost definite losses (UF and LSU) and one likely (Ark @Ark). The others AU should win by at least 10, even Vandy and MSU. I think that we have a brutal stretch with Ark, UGA, and FSU. Luckily 2 of those are at home for us. With the way AU played yesterday, I definitely can see us as #2 in the West (behind LSU obviously) and going to a Jan bowl game (hopefully we would get the Capital One bowl since we went to Cotton a few years ago).

I see the Barners at 5-3 after those games, 4-4 at the worst. It depends on if they pick up the pieces or if they buy into they suck.

I think LSU and UF will maim barn, and until yesterday, i thought the same about UGA. I think Arkansas will give them all they can handle and if the O doesn't step it up, Arkie will beat em. And of course, I'm gonna give Bama the edge, if for no other reason, Saban! If Vandy gets their passing game going like SF did at times, they could very well beat Barn too

Re: AuburnShark, MaxxPower, and bamahter4ever, please re-read Post Rating
We have been sold a poor bill of goods. Guys, beating Alabama every year just is not good enough. I want a national championship and Tubs will never get us one.
The mood hangs thick and low over the plains. An "End of the World" funk is infecting the the barn faithful.

If Mississippi State's D plays Barn like they played the first half against LSU, Cox will get hammered again. It doesn't take much to get him rattled, and State's D played a heck of a first half against LSU. And Barn is no LSU. i would not be shocked at all if state beats barn.

Although I believe Bama will make a bowl easily this year, I think we should proceed with caution. With the way JPW played and no passing touchdowns after two games, he needs to get his head together or we will be discussing his starting job just as the barn is discussing cox's.

We need to take a breath and return to what counts, the BAMA world! Arkansas is now 6 days away!

ROLL TIDE!

Well said. We are fixing to get into the "teeth" of our schedule, and JPW needs to step it up and show the experience that he has. Our running game has been good, but sooner or later, if we can't pass, opposing D's are gonna stack the box and stuff the run. It's that simple.

The biggest factor may be MSU now thinking they can beat the barn. Croom will have them pumped up. And hopefully the barn will be deflated still.

I don't put much stock in the no passing TD comment about JPW at least not yet. Both McElroy, who did throw a TD pass, and Fanuzi played a good bit of the second half against WCU.

I don't know why, but honestly, I can see Auburn LOSING to New Mexico State, I just have that feeling, had it all week for the USF game...

I know NMSU will be like 20 point underdogs, but it just stands out when I look at it...

The State game is the early LF game....the barn never does well on the early games.

The MSU D will pound Cox, if he thought KSU and USF were fast, he'll be laid out this coming Sat.

Actually S.Fla's secondary is superior to anything KSU or MSU has. The front seven is where MSU's D will be better than S.Fla's. The barn's pass protection has looked very shaky the first couple of weeks and if MSU can get plenty of pressure on Cox he'll make mistakes. The question is can they stop the ground game and more importantly can their offense do ANYTHING against the barn's defense. I feel for both QBs in this game as they'll both likely be getting hit hard and often. I don't like State's chances unless their defense or special teams can come up with some scores.

I don't think it really depends on if they think they suck or not. If they don't come up with an answer for their O-line, they are in for a long, long year.
