The Good- Ty Simpson for Heisman. Jam had a hell of a game. The OL was fan freaking tastic! The defense bent but did not break! Great coaching

The Bad- these refs were horrible. Our linebackers need a coach!

The Ugly- the look on the Dawgs faces as they lose to Bama yet again!!!

There should be a stand-alone line in this thread for the refs.

Ugly: I don’t know if it’s player or scheme but we absolutely stink on setting the edge on defense. A runner who presses the hole and bounces outside has an easy path to a big gain against us EVERY single time

I don’t even think they have to do that. Last night the ends were lined up over the guard’s inside shoulder, couldn’t even see the second level, and the DBs were three yards off the line and just inside the tackle’s shoulder. Nobody outside of Lee several times and he ran right at the tackle instead of wide to force back inside.

The LBs are the issue. The press the incorrect hole and get lost in the wash. They also take horrible angles of attack

There’s enough to go around for sure. The line is average and doesn’t give much room for error for the back end.

The line issues have a lot to do with young players being thrown in the fire. All of these linebackers are veterans

Good: Passing game and ability to control the game tempo.

Bad: Grubb’s changes in play-calling. When UGA turned the ball over inside the red zone, we shot ourself in the foot by running ball on 2nd down and had to settle for 3 instead of 7. At times in the 2nd half, we ran the ball up the gut on 1st/2nd downs of drives instead of going wide at least once or going with a WR screen. I think I’m starting to see why CKD played so many close games at UW.

Ugly: Jackson’s play in run support. No less than three times, he got boatraced by a UGA RB because he took horrible angles and lost containment. Just like we got away from our working offensive stuff, Bobo did the same for UGA. They should’ve ran toward Jackson’s side every chance they got.
